:attention: I’m watching Palmyra- dad just got up so Fiona could take nest duty, and there was a conspicuous chip/ pip on one egg! Fingers crossed…..Edit- The pip has to be peeping- Fiona started pebble picking and slid right out onto the porch….silly girl…

Palmyra...something seemed to be bugging dad...so he left. My second cam was stuck and I didn't know it, so I have no clue what was out there....just could have been Mom calling...

I just read on FB that the chicks have been removed. Once they find transport, they will be taken to Tri-State (in DE) for Testing...Guess like the rest of us, they are concerned about a pathogen..particularly Avian Flu.

Palmyra- I didn’t see anything that would lure dad off the nest. He did go back in and got on the eggs for a little while, but he’s back out on the porch now…. Does he think his turn on the eggs has expired and now it’s Fiona’s turn?

2nd hatch and a feed for one as other still had a wee bit of shell on head but I saw it moving
