The four peregrines are banded by Zeka Glucs, Director of the UC Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group, assisted by Teresa Ely from the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory. There are two males and two females, with the following bands:

Females: Left leg: 56/AW (Right leg Yellow tape)
Right leg: 57/AW (Left leg Silver tape)

Males: Left leg: 76/AN (Right leg Blue tape)
Right leg: 77/AN (Left leg Red tape)

Cade is in a nice box in the PG&E building for the night. After dark he tried to fly back to the nest ledge and was met by his squawking siblings. He probably got frightened, lost the air under his wings, didn't stick his landing, and fluttered to the ground. He was picked up by PG&E personnel and tucked away for the night. We will release him tomorrow morning around 10AM back to the nest ledge.

Andy made it back to ledge for supper and spent the night
