Kim Steineger said in the Wilmington page on Facebook, that Fish and Wildlife are going to be coming to get the eggs. Maybe Red Girl can move on... :girlsad3:

Thanks, Nancy. I went back to Facebook and found it. I kind of figured that would happen sooner or later. I feel SO bad for Red Girl in every way possible. :-(

This morning a biologist removed Red Girl's eggs. The new male was on the scene, and his bands could be read. He hatched on the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia in 2018.

Our beloved Little Dad, Red Girl's father, hatched on that same bridge in 2003!

You know, I thought that was the case. I know that he hatched on a bridge in Philadelphia but I wasn't sure which one. Guess there's no chance of him being related to little dad if twenty years had passed.
