Falcon wire thinks chick was accidentally stepped on by adult. Sadly, these things can happen. Maybe the other egg will hatch.

The Harrisburg Chicks are huddled together near the sheild this morning. I think they re also tired of this cool, wet weather Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana has endured for a couple weeks now….

Little Yellow fledged yesterday morning at 825. First flight was great, second a bit bumpy. He was rescued later in the day and sent to Red Creek for evaluation. He got a clean bill of health and will be returned today.


The girls are still there.

Great capture Nancy. I have not been able to post photos but have been watching.

No birds to be found. My guess is they found some shade and are staying there. It's supposed to be 90 today, and near 100 until Wednesday. Not fit weather for man or beast!
