I'm pretty sure that was the year I was there, and watched White Boy fledge. If I remember correctly, Nancy and I were on the parking deck. I know for sure that Jane was on falcon watch down below with several others. Unfortunately, he went missing later and was found dead. The others were girls and one of them was actually first to fledge. Red girl? There was Green, Yellow, and Blue too. It seems like something happened to one of the girls too, Yellow? Or maybe that was another year. So many memories, joys and tragedies.

Ljames, nice to see you! White Boy and Yellow Girl are still on my avatar. Yellow Girl had a chipped beak from what they suspect was the fireworks in Harrisburg. They tried to catch her to help her, but she disappeared. :girlsad3:

I remember this. I was asked if I could contact Gord to see if he could d recommend someone or i f he could help capture Yellow . Gord had said that since she was flying, it may be impossible to do. I think he gave some suggestions . but he did say, that the beak could grow back. HOpe thye did well

Keep waiting for 85 to see his chick. He moved from the point to against the building, I know he can see the eggshell in front of her now :teehee: .

:loveheart2: I left the tab up and heard him. Went in and 85 is atop the front wall of the nest looking in. Niecey still over the chick and eggs. After a few minutes, she is talking softly to him. He flew at 10:28 real time. Niecey was looking around like, where did he go? Maybe he went hunting and will bring something in and she will get up. Heard them at 10:39 and came in and and Niecey was gone. Assume he brought prey to her, but don't know. He was on the point looking up and around at the sky and even bowed once. In a couple minutes he went to the nest and met his chick. He nibbled at the shell and I think lightly beaked the chick, then he tried to settle over everybody. He kept repositioning several times. At 10:45 he is alarming and went and stood in the doorway and continued to alarm. Off he went. Niecey returned to the nest within a couple minutes and got everyone covered. At 10:53, 85 returned to the point and is keeping an eye on the sky and his surroundings. All is well!

:15heartbeat: At 11:15, I heard Niecey and went in and assumed it was she flying from the nest. The chick looks great, already white and fluffy. She returned to the doorway at 11:18 and is looking to the sky and around. She went to the nest and covered the chick and eggs and continues to look toward the sky and around. You have to wonder if an intruder may still be in the area as I feel that is what 85 was alarming to earlier. Quiet as I leave at 11:30 and I do not see 85 on any of the cams.

:loveheart2: Came in a few minutes ago to a feed in progress by Niecey. He was at the end of the ledge next to the building. Having trouble moving around to the different sites. Have tried 2 browsers and same thing, so must be me. Bet the feeding is over by now.

I have had several good looks at the other four eggs today. Did not see any pips. There was a nice feeding around 4 this afternoon. I am just so distressed by the situation in Wilmington that I've not checked in here often. I'm pretty sure none of Red Girl's eggs will hatch. :-(

:15heartbeat: Really hoping Trinity and Red Girl come through this safely. Have been checking on them too. I was preoccupied with the missing chick at West End today. I did check in here several times, but only briefly. I think between all of us, we have it covered. I was surprised there was not a 2nd hatch today, maybe there will be 2 tomorrow. Or 3! :teehee: Then it will take all of us for sure!!

:teehee: Niecey just surprised me as she got up and off the eggs completely (didn't expect to get a full view of the chick and eggs this time of night), then backed out of the nest. I heard a PS, then she hurried back in to get everyone covered. No pips seen this view.
