:flirty: Just saw a wing stretch up in view of the cam, so the 3rd one is lying just outside of the nest box to the far right. Right now the other 2 chicks are in that same area, only they remain in the nest.

:flirty: Loud feed was in progress by Niecey! She had been on the point. Think 85 delivered the prey as I caught Niecey already in the nest with it and he on the ledge with part of it lodged on his talons. He left the ledge and flew to the point to clean up. After feed over, it is Niecey now on the point. Just saw her fly at about 7:00 pm.

Somewhere around 5:00 one of the chicks left the scrape and was right next to it near where the stick starts. I was not at the computer when it got back in. I did see a picture on Facebook of one of them out in front of the scrape earlier this afternoon.

:flirty: Two sleeping in the nest and one outside of the nest preening. Don't see parents on cams.

:flirty: 85 has arrived to the point and I don't see Niecey, so maybe a feed coming that he has delivered. No feed yet and 85 flew at 13:57.

:15heartbeat: 85 just flew from the point after Niecey was calling from atop the nest wall. He had been crouched and preening prior to leaving. The chicks are asleep in the nest.

One of the chicks was out on the ledge right in front of the scrape up against the building. I didn't see it get out there nor do I know how long it had been there. The return to the scrape was less than graceful!

Love seeing those pin feathers. And watching them start to go in and out of the nest. Just don't like when they start going around the column..

If we picked what sex they were by their feet, I'd say we have 2 girls and a boy. :clapegg:

:flirty: Just realized they have pulled the cams back! Think it was 85 that landed on the ledge to vocals and was feaking, so must have delivered a meal maybe to their storage area as I don't see Niecey or she took it and flew before I saw her. He walked down to the point and looks so little with the pulled back view. Will be hard to ID them till I get used to the new views maybe. One chick out of the nest and the other 2 are in it. Saw on FB today that 85 went into the nest to check on the chicks, so sorry I missed that, but so glad he did!! He flew after awhile, if that was him and eventually Niecey showed up to the stick.

Screen capture.

:15heartbeat: Right now, Niecey is fussing from atop the nest and 85 is on the point. All 3 chicks are mid-ledge. Then it turns into me realizing something is wrong as both parents gone and suddenly I see flybys and shadows going over the ledge at a fierce pace! Niecey returned to the top of the nest and kak-kak-kak, for awhile. Then she left and saw more flybys and shadows of, but at a less frenzied pace. More like "patrol". Then Niecey returned to the nest top and she is quiet now. In a bit she is fussing again, then quiet. Niecey fussy again, flew out and did flybys and twice landed on ledge in front of chicks. The last time she stayed. After quite a while with intermittant fussing, Niecey is staring into and right up against the "bad window"! Now I am wondering if the intruder was actually a "peeper" looking at the chicks from inside ...

She left and did more flybys, then to the point, more flyby, then to ledge and definitely looking in "bad window"!
I don't know what is going on, but have to leave for a bit.

See they are laying by the bad window. Miss them not coming out the bad window to band. Now we worry when they start wandering. :15heartbeat:

I didn't want to say anything until an official post has been made. The reason for the adults being upset this morning was due to banding of the three chicks. They are all males and all healthy! Check the Falcon Wire on the DEP web site for more information.
