Niecey has been perched on the shield for about an hour on this rainy Sunday morning. I keep looking at the camera perch, but haven't seen anyone sitting there. Rain is to continue almost all day and into tomorrow morning. It's in the low 40s here. |

thankS loza. i had some time to watch yesterday. The other male was in just before little dad. I showed his band in photos just before little dad . I think some thought it was niecey but was not. wonder who that was in your pictures |

Sue got a picture of Niecey and Lil Dad together on the ledge. She was lucky enough to catch a glimpe of red bands on his left legs, so it was definitely Lil Dad!

I thought I saw a red band also. great news but I am confused. Jane said Niecey lost her green strip last year. the pictures shown on Fb and on my post yesterday do show a definite green on band. So I thought it was the other male, on just before little dad

To clear up any confusion, Niecey lost the green tape that was on her RIGHT leg band. She still has a black/green band on her LEFT leg band, as does 85. Little Dad also has a band on his right leg - all silver. He is the only one that would have a red band of any sort on the left leg. |

thank you so much Jane.  I was not looking for green band on Niecey. Now I know. I knew she had it before. I knew I always had ot watch carefully between Niecey and other male. So she kept her green tape that long. I know that they usually have silver on right leg. at least ours do I know little dad. such a sweet male. Have a great evening and stay safe

The green tape on Niecey's right leg band came off some time last June. None of us noticed that for quite some time. The band on the right leg is crimped on, and the odds of it ever coming off are very low. The band on the left leg is actually two sections, with each section being fastened by rivets. I definitely saw Little Dad on the point earlier this morning, and someone caught a picture of mating on the stick. That happened before I tuned in. |

Super captures, Loza. I missed the canoodle on the stick as I had the point view cam running. I heard it, though. No doubt about which male it was. And there was a very noisy bonding session in the scrape after the canoodle. |

little dad was on point for a long time . Niecey scraped in box and left little dad scraped in box and at 11:38am is just outside box preening. will try and come back with photos. is it me or is point cam quite a bit behind in time |
