Peregrine Falcon Eyrie at Castle Rock
2021 Banding 4 falcon chicks. You can hear parents scolding! RRP Director John Howe took some videos from the eyrie so that everyone could see the world from a nestling falcon's point of view.

The Castle Rock kids have lost a lot of their down, and are perching on the lip of their nestbox. Right now they are eagerly looking for mom to come in with their next meal..and they are banded!

Sue, Castle Rock doesnt have a box.
I think they're too young to band.

When Rock is on hilites they show last year's GSB chicks.

Yes, and you know, I Knew that they nested in a cave, but did t realize until you pointed it out. (Sigh) I just checked on the Castle Rock kids and found bulging crops! Healthy little ones- and a reminder to myself and anyone interested, Castle Rock kids and Great Spirit Bluff kids will be banded on Saturday May 31 :15heartbeat:

Elsa is screaming and screaming. Are the banders coming? The kids are sleeping...Elsa's screaming woke one up. Waiting.....I hear the peoples voices- every bird is screaming.

"Collecting the babies" I hear Elsa flying by...They are putting them in a kennel. One guy remarks " They are fiesty babies" :loveheart:

I think I hear the clicking of bands being applied. One fella is recording it with a go pro.

66 left her place for another spot on the bluff for awhile.
Later climbed back home.
They are very dark now - ready to fledge.

I guess we can say 66 bluffed - rather than branched. :egg14:
