    Hey everyone ... it seems that we have a new unbanded female in the nest. The "chatters" on EarthCam have dubbed her "Matilda" so I'm going to go with that for now.

    I'm not sure what happened to Discovery, she may have left due to the competition, or she was injured, but we may never know. Brock and Matilda seem to be getting along ok (bowing and courting), so we'll have to wait and see. Please, be aware that there may be MANY changes before next year's nesting season, this might not be our last female.

Summary:
A pair of ringless falcons raised three cubs in this nest for the first time, installed in January 2022.
The female laid four eggs and the first chick hatched on May 6.
Ringed on May 31, two females and a male (black and blue rings)

Gus male - C/83,
Farah female - P/31,
Stella female - P/33

They flew away happily. We are waiting for the next breeding season.
