Both were inside all night
When fledgling 1 left this morning, #2 went crazy!
You know exactly what I mean. 8)
She fledged too.

8 am SONday June 6 both have fledged.
They were ready. Wasnt a fludge

update

The two peregrine falcon chicks have successfully fledged. Thank you to all viewers for tuning in this season.

The live stream is now disabled. Stay tuned for the 2022 season!

The two peregrine chicks at Mill Creek were not able to be banded this season due to their age and the risk of the chicks prematurely leaving the nest. Peregrine falcons typically learn to fly about 40-45 days after hatching. To date, 163 peregrine falcons have successfully fledged from LG&E and KU generating stations. Seven more will be added when this year’s chicks fledge from Mill Creek, Trimble County, and Ghent.
