rescueA lady walking across pedway, sent picture of fledgling wandering around on top of entrance ( before she went and perched on lip of ledge) she sent ot Janice
Peter had to get maintenance to open a window and he had to crawl out and retrieve her.( Janice and another fledge watcher were on the ground below the ledge with their blankets up , in case she came off ledge) He had to walk carefully toward her and gently coax her away from ledge and against wall , and then retrieve her and put her in our carrier. ( Peter has rescued from this spot before several years ago) . over the last few years , Janice and Peter rescue as a team.
Then we had our wonderful lady , who comes to the site and examines the young ones, examine her ( if they are o.k. we can put them back up) but her wing was definitely sore)

so our young miss spent the night at our house as Wild North was no t open ( we have been very privileged over the years to host many young ones. have even had to feed on occasion)
Dr Court ( our species at risk biologist) came and picked her up in the morning , examined her and then took her and so she is in good hands. she has some wing problem it appears, or shoulder. A few days will tell better.
Dr court does no t usaully have to wear a glove to handle the young ones but our Yella , was very feisty and so he had to eventually put a hood on her to examine her properly. Attitude , that one LOll
