Bird Cams Around the World

There is a bird at Bell this morning starting at 5:59 am and staying until some time after 1 pm (cam time). I finally got a better look at it closer to its departure time. I think it might be the resident Female but cannot be sure until I see it closer or better yet catch the band. The 2026 season in Edmonton has begun.

Corrected departure time 12:36 pm. I was relying on my memory

We have one back at the U of A now. 9:54 am cam time. Panicked pigeon was the clue.

Hello everyone, at 12:30 today (April 2, 2026), a peregrine falcon entered the nest box. I believe she is female, but I cannot identify if she is the same one from last year.

I am hopeless at posting images but I am trying again, this time to post screen captures from my IPad. If it works you should be able to see 3 views of the U of A bird. I agree that it is likely female. I would go further to suggest that it sure looks like lasts year’s female.
