U of A...

This couple is a trip. Yesterday (5/24), while checking in on them, I watched the female...at least she was getting a good meal... she was eating ALL the maggots (I guess that's what they were) that were growing in all that stored prey. While it was fascinating, it was so gross..LOL

one egg seems to be covered by shell of another egg. very hot today and now severe storms , but downtown does not seem ot have gotten them

one of the prey guards almost out of box. I think femlae may lay and egg or two. spending more an d more time in box and it looks like egg laying position.

after a week of intense heat, it is now cooler but winds are very strong and cool so she is tryin got keep them warm

she spends quite a bit of time in box at various times in day, He just gets weirder . she took out a prey to day that he put in late last night an d now he brings in another fresh kill to hide.

even with eyes closed sh e is gorgeous. she deserves a good male
