I really have to start reading things more often I just found this

Update September 2011
The streaming video for the eaglecam has been discontinued for the season. The adult eagles and the one surviving young eagle use the nest only rarely and their use will increase later this winter. Viewers are able to check on the tree-top nest views by clicking the 10 second image update.

As of the second week in September the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has not received any information from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on necropsy results on the one dead fledgling bald eagle from the Lake Washington nest site. In future months we will be working to bring you some breeding history about this nest site and pair of eagles. We wish the pair a safe winter and hope they return to this spectacular nest tree and site. We are making preparations to install a new camera that will allow several unique views of eagle nest this next season. Please send out the WildWatchcam link to all of your friends and relatives - http://wdfw.wa.gov/wildwatch/

That's one gorgeous picture Patti.

Thanks for the sad news kitten; disappointing.

(PattiO posted about this on Jul 16 and Susan updated the calendar.)

I knew that it had died but just hadn't heard why and I guess this is one of those that we'll never know, thanks for doing the calendar

Good capture with the sunset. It was a good sunset and now it's clear as a bell. I can even see stars tonight!

Well this is the nest we never can see in so who knows I never would have guess Sequoyah would have an egg yet maybe they are all going to get a early start. I sure hope not tho

I hope not too ... too much bad weather still to come I'm sure.

She did eventually get up and fly off ... must have just felt like sleeping "at home" last night. :loveheart2:
