I’ve just learned the identities of two birds on the Estonian Forest Cam. Pictures and verbiage are from Wikipedia.

The Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) (sometimes called Hoodiecrow) is a Eurasian bird species in the crow genus. Widely distributed, it is also known locally as Scotch Crow, Danish Crow, and Corbie or Grey Crow in Ireland, which is what its Welsh name, Brân Lwyd, translates as. Found across Northern, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, as well as parts of the Middle East, it is an ashy grey bird with black head, throat, wings, tail and thigh feathers, as well as a black bill, eyes and feet. Like other corvids it is an omnivorous and opportunistic forager and feeder.

The European Magpie, also Eurasian Magpie and Common Magpie (Pica pica), is a resident breeding bird throughout Europe, much of Asia and northwest Africa. It is one of several birds in the crow family named as magpies, and belongs to the Holarctic radiation of "monochrome" magpies.

In Europe, "Magpie" is used by English speakers as a synonym for the European Magpie; it is the only magpie in Europe outside the Iberian Peninsula.

Maybe you would like to add it to the list of eagle cam links?

Thank you for the link to the new Spanish Imperial Eagle nest, Peregrinus. Do you read Spanish? If so, can you tell me where this nest is and then I'll add it to the Eagle Cam Links. Thanks!

Your post about the griffon vulture has been moved to MISC. FEATHERED FRIENZ » ALL BIRDS >> MISC. BIRDS. Thank you for that link as well!

I watch this nest too (but only started this month) and saw the Black Stork there but I never saw the pair.

There are two Lesser Spotted Eagle nests in Estonia with cameras this season. The one I've recorded here was formerly a Black Stork nest. Two LSE, affectionately named Tuuli and Remo by the Estonian forum, have taken over.

Video: Dear, Do We Have an Egg?

After spending a couple of nights on the nest, Tuuli has not laid an egg. Her mate, Remo, arrives and seems to ask the question: "An egg, my love?"
