Anyway Alphonse is still doing great with Luigi, his keeper, taking good care of him.

I don't think Alph will be released, but who knows?
I'm content all the Nembo&Rebecca's chicks from 2009 were rescued and nobody starved.
Happy ending aren't so common.. so long life to this little one! :thumbup

Luigi finally sent those pics I'm glad to share! :woohoo:

I still say these Kestrels are the cutest of birds the Falcons and eagles and Osprey are magnificent and regal but Kestrels are cuties

Kim - Thanks so much for posting the new pictures of Alphonse...he sure is one beautiful kestrel! And please thank Luigi for me too when you see him in Rome. (I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures when you get back from your Rome visit.)

SGB - Great picture of the Denmark kestrel! If and when I see one there now (which is hardly ever), it's usually just the tip of the tail that I see.

Kitten - I agree...the kestrels are the cutest members of the falcon family.
