Beth, I never forget an osprey nest (the only thing I don't forget :lol:

). I know the nest is in the town of Dennis, that's about in the middle of Cape Cod. I don't know the exact location, or history of the nest, yet. We are having our first of the season Cape Cod Osprey Project meeting next Thursday evening. Someone at the meeting should know...if not we will track it down, so we can map it and document it's success, or failure. That's what we do!!! I'll post what I find out.

I just found this nice osprey cam, located in Panama City, FL There were two ospreys on the nest when I checked it. It will be cool to see what the north Florida osprey do!!

"A live picture of our resident Osprey nest that resides atop our 150ft tower at the Station in downtown Panama City. The Station is about three blocks from the Bay and each year a pair of Osprey raise their young in this nest."

KITTEN and BETH, the Cape Cod Cam is from the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. Today, while speaking with a couple of CCOP members, about tomorrow nights meeting, I mentioned the cam. And, sure enough, the answer. So you don't need to wait another day :grin:

The cam used to be the type that could only be viewed from inside the museum on their monitor, I had no idea it had been updated, or when they made the change, and that's not important. But, now I'll be able to get a very good history (no pun intended) on the nest.

I added the Cape Cod cam and home page link to our Osprey Cam Links topic. Also, the links to Anacostia River Washington, DC , Barbee Mill Seattle, WA and Panama City, FL :thud

I remember the first time I went on Kitten I had to download something for the cam to
work and not have the little box in the left-top corner...Maybe activeX
