The meal lasted over an hour, during which time all three youngsters were fed. At the end, their crops were full.

Hard rain. Female was able to shelter one of the chicks. Notice the other two trying to "cuddle". These three are provided for wonderfully by this pair. Lots of fish are consumed each day.

The chicks looked like being ready to sleep in the evening. But suddenly, at 10 o'clock p.m., both parents arrived at the same moment and with a fish. The fish looked like a pike and was still alive (not for long). Dinner was served while the sun was setting...

Little Stephi was feeling better today. She was exercising her wings and feeding herself. A parent visited her briefly. In the evening, she snuggled with her mother - their favorite relaxing position.

"Dyfi Osprey Project - 14:00

Everything is fine on the nest, Ceulan fledged this morning at 09:29
and returned to the nest 48 minutes later after some cow watching.

He had a short flight at 12:45 too but only around 6 feet up to the T perch
to be closer to mother. Look out for a blog later on this evening with a video
of the fledging. Also, the Fledging Competition winner will be announced"

I just posted slideshows from the 2 Estonia LSE nests on the Misc. International Eagle thread. Didn't know you were posting them here Ferenz.

This is the Osprey nest. :)
They are getting so big now! :)
