We have had so much snow and the nest is clear again but we are expecting more snow. I hope Lacombe does not get it.

Just around the corner! :egg13: - :shovel: Surely hope too, snowfall knows avoid Lacombe! :loveheart2:

so sweet to see Ophelia back and the little owlet practicing it's wings - though they always look sad, I'll bet he's happy that mom is back --- some housekeeping might be in order, but GHO's have no sense of smell - so ripe as it may be in that box - it's home to them.

I am looking at the cam now - horrible...just a disaster - I don't see anything moving. Very sad.

OMS Owl, Reno - Just wanted to post that the little GHO was active this afternoon - just hard to see in the right hand back corner. Got a look at him/her a few times, beautiful yellow eyes now more visible, seemed ok. No guarantees, but may be just fine.

Today, Baby GHO took a walk and watched something - was the tree where parents remains, opposite the nest?

Just wanted to post that the Reno GHO owlet is doing very well. I saw this afternoon s/he swallowed two (2!) mouse-sized rodents all by herself, and then went to nap in her favorite out-of-cam-view corner. I missed a screen shot of that, but here is one from 2 days ago - you can see how much she's grown.

You will find pictures of our little one here. Poor birdie, but in a good place with friends. When we get more information, I will share!

Best to you all,

Chad
