jd_AEF (Moderator): Good morning Hamlet...Heavy rain this morning as tropical storm Nestor is passing through. Be safe, Samson and Gabrielle and find a sheltered place...storms will continue through the day with winds 15-20 mph and temps around 70 to 80 degrees.

I have been waiting hoping to find captures of Samson and Gabby when they are wet to help with ID for future reference possibly. Samson was here for awhile and the following are screen captures of him in various poses soaking wet by Kenda40:

suncats_AEF (Moderator): Good afternoon Hamlet watchers! Samson flew to the nest around 2:10 pm, and Gabrielle followed a few minutes later on Wallenda Branch. Samson then hopped up from the nest to Sunset Branch.

Samson is currently perched on the tree. He and Gabby have spent a large chunk of this afternoon retrieving and bringing branches to the nest and working on nestorations per mod. A total of 5 branches have been brought in so far with Samson retrieving 4/5! He is taking a well deserved break.

aka_AEF: He flies to nest then back to Sunset Branch as Gabby returns to Lookout Point at 5:21. Samson flies from Sunset Branch at 5:39.

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Good Saturday evening, happy weekend Hamlet viewers! We still have our lovely Gabrielle on Lookout Point on both cams 1& 2, with a very full crop, and looking very relaxed!

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Samson arrived at the nest at 6:56, and Gabrielle joined him there. Samson flew to the Sunset Branch at 7:00, then Gabrielle flew off at 7:02, and returned to the nest with a stick at 7:04, and they both moved furniture in the nest for a few minutes. Samson flew up to the Sunset Branch again at 7:05, while Gabrielle remained in the nest. She flew off at 7:08, immediately followed by Samson, and then vocals could be heard in the distance. Our ground crew is on the move and will have more details to follow!

gretchen_AEF (Admin): SATURDAY TUCK-IN: Your ground crew was "tag teaming" with cam op, tweetie_AEF, and prepared for Samson and Gabrielle to arrive in the LY to roost. Sure enough they both came flying in at 7:08pm landing near each other at the top of their favorite pine with sweet vocals. Then low and behold, they mated. The finale was Gabrielle's famous cooing. Fully tucked and she's fully full and both happy. SED Y'all :

Gabrielle joins Samson in the nest at 10:16 am, and they move sticks around. After some beak kisses, Samson moves up to Sunset Branch.

Only a GBH is currently perched on the nest tree! It is on a branch right below the nest and can be seen from the long range cam.

Edit to add: Currently at 8:39, Samson and Gabby are on the nest. When they arrived just a few minutes ago the GBH looked up, but remained on the branch. Nothing from Samson and Gabby.
