THURSDAY TUCK-IN: We have a sleepy family at home tonight. Legacy is seen on cams 1 & 4 and Samson and Gabrielle can be seen on cams 2 & 3.....equal cam viewing! Our baby, Legacy, is growing by leaps and bounds. Her legs are getting a work out and gaining strength, as she's standing more each day. Two fish and a squirrel were delivered today. What an uneventful season with little to no intrusions by owls or uninvited eagles. It's so fine in our pine! SED to our dear Hamlets and SED to all!

SATURDAY TUCK-IN: Our little darling is fully tucked up against the edge of the nest next to NE25. Mom and Dad are roosting on branches nearby (Cam 2). SUNDAY TUCK-IN: Our Hamlets are in their "assigned positions" as usual and fast asleep. Today we celebrate chatter Plinco's birthday, and tomorrow we celebrate Legacy's 5th week hatch day. MONDAY TUCK-IN: Our dear Legacy is in her roosting spot in the nest keeping NE25 warm and facing mom and dad perched in their favorite roosting spots. On Cam 3 they appear to be perched side by side by the light and one in view on Cam 2 with the other behind. Happy 5th week hatch day to our Legacy! It's a little breezy but good for keeping the bugs at bay. SED to our Hamlets and SED to everyone!

WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: All is quiet in the Hamlet. Gabby is on Cam 1, Legacy on Cam 2, and Samson on Cam 3 (Wallenda branch right of the nest) at the time being. Samson buried the "Golden Egg" telling Gabby and Legacy to "move on.....it's not going to happen." Wonder if NE25 will re-surface? The egg has been a comfort for many. THANKFUL THURSDAY TUCK-IN: Actually thankful that the wind has settled down a bit. Legacy is spread out in the nest solo at this time on Cam 2. Mom and dad are roosting on Cam 1. Temps will cool off a bit tonight with lots of sunshine on Friday. SED to our dear Hamlets and SED to all!

All are home tonight. Saw Legacy sitting up in a different spot today, but she does not seem as active as other eaglets to me or I am very unlucky and coming in at her quiet times frequently. :hmmmm

FRIDAY TUCK-IN: As usual Legacy is zonked and spread out in the nest with one full tummy, while mom and dad are tucked near cams 1 & 4 as seen from Cam 2. It will be a cooler night tonight with less winds. Tomorrow is the first day of spring! All is fine in the Slash Pine. SED to our Hamlets and SED to all our viewers!

Legacy is hiding from the rain and wind under Gabby's wing right now! Scared me at 1st, because I couldn't find her, but Gabby's wing or what I thought was Gabby's wing turns out to be Legacy!

22:00 I do not think Samson is here tonight, but the nest cam view is distorted. Gabby is looking a little rough with all the rain and wind. Legacy's head and upper body is still under Mom's wing. The Tuck:

SATURDAY TUCK-IN: The howling wind has been relentless today. Temps remain in the 50's thru the night with winds lessening around 11pm tonight and possible rain during the night. Gabby has shown what a protective and faithful mom she is throughout the day sheltering Legacy from the fierce wind and rain. Tomorrow should be a better day. They are tough birds. Sleep well, dear Gabby, Samson and Legacy. SED to all!

A little different scenario tonight as neither Samson nor Gabby is on the nest tree. Legacy is currently asleep on the nest. The Tuck and a mod update from earlier this evening:

SUNDAY TUCK-IN: jd_AEF has it all above! A pretty simple tuck tonight as Legacy is the only one tucked in the nest (at this time). It's very likely mom or dad will appear at some point during the night. When Sam flew, he was heading in the ET or LY direction. Glenn confirmed they weren't over there. It's most likely they are across the street together in the ET. Think Legacy told mom and dad "I've got this" and off they went! SED to our Hamlets and SED to everyone! Have a super week ahead!

As of 11:30 pm still no sign of parents in the nest tree...they must be perched nearby. Legacy is busy preening and doing a good job of laying low in the winds! Everything is quiet and all is well.

MONDAY TUCK-IN: Well mom is back roosting tonight in the nest with Legacy. Legacy is trying to figure out how to get closer to mom. Samson is likely roosting nearby and possibly across the street in the ET. It was another balmy day in the Hamlet today, but tomorrow promises to be better and weather will warm up nicely thru the week. SED to our special Hamlets and SED to all!

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Legacy was well fed today .... fish and squirrel. Mom and dad arrived at the nest towards the end of chat tonight. Mom is tucked and seen on Cam 2, while dad and Samson are seen on Cam 1 (at this time). Dad is roosting on the Wallenda Branch, and Legacy is sprawled out in "her" nest. Tomorrow promises to bring warmer temps and some sunshine. SED to our Hamlets and SED to everyone!

Good Evening 6:34 pm Samson decides to fly off. 7:37 pm Mom returns and perches on Wallenda branch. Legacy is making it known she is there. She joins Legacy in the nest at 7:43 pm. 7:44 pm dad arrives and perches high above Wallenda branch Cam 1. Gabrielle's feathers are partially visible on FL Side view cam (Cam 4). 8:22 pm new Locations: Sam on Cam 1, Gabrielle on Cam 2 and Legacy on FL side view 4K Camera and all 3 are sleeping. THURSDAY TUCK-IN: Well our sleeping beauties haven't move an inch.....mom on 1 and Legacy on 2. Dad is a no show tonight, but that's ok. He's nearby without a doubt, and he did outdo himself today with a couple fish deliveries. Mom and dad each have a role and do it well. They have proven to be so in sync with each other. So blessed! They say all are home tonight, but I can't find Samson for now. He is high up in the tree. Too high for the cams, even cam 3 or maybe obscured by a branch. Gabby on a branch and can be seen on cam 1. Legacy on the nest. Watched a video of Legacy today of her wingercizing and standing on the rails watchful beyond the nest. Enjoyed seeing her more active.

Both Samson and Gabby are on cam 1 now. They left the ET since the Tuck was written. Legacy is awake and up right now. It is a VERY "buggy night"! They are everywhere! The Tuck:

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Samson was blessed with 3 fish deliveries later in the day today and appears "sacked out". At tuck tonight one of the parents flew right over us, and we soon heard vocals from both close by. Sure enough they were perched together across the street in the ET (pic below). They are high in the tree and can see the nest from there. Will they remain there thru the night, or will one or both return to the nest? Guess we will see! SED to our Hamlets and SED to y'all
