Some pics from early this evening. They are diligently working on the nest and both are sleeping in the nest tree tonight. Juliet would lay her eggs this week in Nov. We will see if Gabrielle is on a similar schedule.

:15heartbeat: Difficulties with cams. Conner_ AEF (admin) says it appears to be a server issue and HDonTAP has been sent a message.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): We are experiencing technical issues. Cam 4 (4K) may be the only live cam at this time. Our technicians are working on it. Thank you for your patience.

:1val: Both of them flew about 3 minutes ago, so probably headed to the LY for the night. I'm having problems with cams 1 and 2 freezing and the 4K is still behind even when you select the live view.

debistl_AEF (Moderator): G'evening everyone! Samson flew from Lookout Point at 6:06 pm, swiftly followed by Gabrielle. Sleep well beautiful eagles. The ground crew quickly located them in their sleeping tree

leigh_AEF (Moderator): Good morning Samson and Gabrielle! They arrived together with vocals and look ready to work.

leigh_AEF (Moderator): Samson flew to the Wallenda branches at 7:05. Gabrielle flew at 7:07. I wonder what she will return with.

leigh_AEF (Moderator): Gabrielle is back and joins Samson on the Wallenda branches.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Samson was perched on the Wallenda when we arrived at the nest tonight for tuck. He later vocalized, and we knew Gabrielle was likely in sight and approaching. Once she arrived at the nest, they exchanged lengthy vocals greeting each other like they hadn't seen each other in days. It was so sweet. They soon took off and were heard close by but not in the LY direction. We drove around looking for them, then waited for them at the LY, but no returnees. They are, no doubt, close by.

jd_AEF (Moderator): Rewinding, Gabby flew in a 2:44 am with vocals and Samson flew in 2:53 and joined her in the nest.
Nov 13, 10:03 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Both are peacefully tucked as of 3:45 am

jd_AEF (Moderator): Watching on rewind, both did some quick nest fluffs at 2:53 am . After that rain some fluffing was needed. Both looking around like perhaps there was an owl encounter.
Nov 13, 10:22 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): 2:57 am Samson hopped up to Sunset for a snooze. 4:20 am He rejoins her in the nest for more nestorations and fluffing.

:7val: Interesting they showed up to the nest in the middle of the night!! I read somewhere there may have been owls nearby. I don't think anyone is on the tree now, but I am having trouble with the cams. This eagle nest is significant and enjoying the spotlight for sure with new participants Samson and Gabby this season. What a shame the cams at times are taking away from this experience. It seems if these issues were fixable it would have been fixed by now as the issues have been going on for a very long, time at intervals. Want to think it will be resolved before egg laying and chick time, but I am so afraid it won't be. Found this message from earlier this morning:

Nov 13, 9:26 AM
gretchen_AEF (Admin): We are experiencing stream issues and HDonTap is aware and working thru it. Thank you for your patience.

:15heartbeat: Samson and Gabby ARE on the nest, they arrived at 12:49 on the 4K!!

:1val: I'll add the AEF_mod notes from this afternoon as it is so arduous to try and find the correct times of their actual visits this afternoon on the cams as they now function. I believe this is the continuance of their arrival to the nest at 1249 this afternoon as I noted 2 posts above. So, nobody on the nest tree now, but an active afternoon for them here.

Nov 13, 12:16 PM
tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Samson flew off at 1:11, and returned at 1:13 with a nice stick! He is now perched on the Sunset Branch at 1:14 on cam 2, while Gabrielle remains in the nest.
Nov 13, 12:32 PM
tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Gabrielle flew off at 1:27. Samson remains on the Sunset Branch.
Nov 13, 1:15 PM
tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Samson flew off at 2:11, and could be seen heading off toward the horizon on cam one.
Nov 13, 2:39 PM
jd_AEF: 3:38 pm Gabrielle is home on Wallenda branch...seems to be searching for her man
Nov 13, 2:41 PM
jd_AEF: And there he is...in the nest
Nov 13, 3:00 PM
jd_AEF: Samson flies off 3:59 pm
Nov 13, 3:03 PM
jd_AEF: Gabrielle is in her favorite spot hiding behind the camera equipment
Nov 13, 3:50 PM
jd_AEF: We don't have a great view of Gabby right now, but she is still perched waiting for Samson to come home.
Nov 13, 3:52 PM
jd_AEF: She flies off at 4:52 pm...must have spotted him!
Nov 13, 4:05 PM
jd_AEF: The cam one view is not live at this time...we have an empty nest right now as eagles have flown

Edit to add: Nov 13, 4:59 PM
jd_AEF (Moderator): well, both flew at 5:53 and they are reportedly at the LY tree, per Glenn.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Yes, they were both at the nest tonight and one by one flew over to the LY and are roosting in their ST hopefully avoiding some of the wild wind we've had today in the Hamlet. SED Y'all
