Feb 3

Both were in nest tree, M15 attempted mating but I guess F23 not ready . They both look good. Both were in nest restoration. M15 flew off for evening , F23 stayed in attic all evening and flew off after 6 am Feb 4

Fingers crossed . F23 did go to pond for a drink yesterday but spent quite a bit of time in nest tree

So good to see them both :loveheart: :loveheart:

FEb 4 and Feb 5
both were here yesterday. M15 had left eye closed and F23 spent th e night :loveshow: :loveshow: :loveshow:

Feb5
M15 joined F23 at nest thi s morning. He looked better. could open left eye. ( it is right eye that he had allergies in)
they were both there for site awhile. and were vocal at times as if in defense.
I took just a few pictures and did a short video( video shows M15 an d eyes) . will post later today

I am cautiously optimistic. maybe th e good Lord will answer our prayers :15heartbeat:

I have been away but so thankful that M15 and F23 look so well. M15 left eye is much improved . They are both aerating and making nestorations and there have been at least 2 matings.
Never say never. They may just be renewing their bond. I hope they just take the rest of the season to fully recover :loveheart:

everything looking good here. they are here most days. M15 doing nestorations. a few mating attempts or successes seen on cam
who knows . when Harriet re clutched it was about 35 days after she lost he young one.
I really feel they need to concentrate on their health.

and now rats have been foun d with avian flu, so could be tough for all our feathered friends and animals

F23 and M15 have been spending quite a bit of time at nest tree doing nest orations an d just perching but
today an intruder spent quite a bit of time in nest area and F23 had ot kick it out of tree. both M15 and F23 defended . Hopefully it stays away

although it was so sad that their 2 young perished to Avian flu , we that watch here, are so grateful that our adults pulled through. We were worried for a few weeks, but M15 got better and his eyes are great( well he does have allergies so right eye is closed at times) F23 looks great also and for awhile there we thought they may have a second clutch. but I am glad they did no t. they need the time to fully recover.

I will be back after supper to post pictures

from today

posted on their site, this evening
