FAREWELL F23
March 4, 2026 southwest florida eagle cam
F23 has been found deceased.
F23 was missing since Feb 27th.
There were reports of a deceased bald eagle found close to the nest & SWFEC is awaiting confirmation but believe that it is F23. They did put out an official statement tonight in regards to F23.

Fly High and Forever Free, F23.

I know the eagle branched - dont know if it fledged yet.

Our youngster is doing well. I do not believe that the adult eagle they found was F23 . Too many contradictions.
But none the less , she went missing.
An adult female has been tolerated the last few days and our young fledgling is not at risk. He is still being fed, and comes back to nest tree . Also is enjoying the pond .
