:15heartbeat: Harriet and M15 had a peaceful night on the nest tree. Currently, they both are perched on the snag near the shopping center and the cam is focused on them.

:taz: Another owl attack and Harriet was hit hard. They both give chase this time and they say it was M15 who returned to the tree, but in the video I wondered if it was Harriet and with a possible sprain or strain in the lower extremity with the demonstrated lack of sure footedness as they turn around on the limb. There is only 1 eagle on the tree right now and it's head is tucked and I do not know which one it is. I think they believe it is M15 though. Video is by Lady Hawk:

:15heartbeat: Check out 8:51 on the DVR! Harriet is sure footed enough this morning as she just eased down the branch and stomped M15 with her foot several times to signal it's time to mate ... which he obliged! :teehee:

:15heartbeat: Harriet had a quiet night on the nest per mod. M15 flew back to the tree this morning after having spent the night elsewhere. Both can be seen perched side by side on the tree currently.

:15heartbeat: At 12:29 am, an eagle flies in and to the attic. The cam is focused on Harriet still in the nest, but I assume this is M15 returning. Can be seen from the pond cam.

:1val: It was M15 that flew in to the tree so late last night. Apparently it scared Harriet on the nest as they have a video of her being startled on his arrival. Later on, in the middle of the night (3:01 am), Harriet joined M15 in the attic and they did have a peaceful night per mod. This morning, matings continue. Nobody home for now.

:leafrock: Harriet just finished eating a squirrel on the nest and went up to a branch. M15 brought the squirrel in earlier that she claimed, per mod. Mods also report they had a quiet night.

:flirty: Harriet and M15 are in the outer attic, hopefully for the night. It'll be okay if Harriet decides to sleep on the nest, I think she is safer there and she seems to take the owl hits more often than M15. Hope they both remain safe through out the night.

:buzzybee: Mods report there were alerts once during the night causing Harriet to go the nest, but she returned quickly to the outer attic where M15 remained. Otherwise, it was another peaceful night for them. This morning there was a ground report of Harriet chasing another eagle out of the area with M15 joining the pursuit. They flew west. Nobody home now.
