On the nest:E18
10:52am E17 flies to the attic, both Juvies very vocal. E18 drops to the attic then to the nest. E18 lies down in the nest, up briefly and back down. E17 preening, vocal off and on. 10:57am E17 goes to the veranda, to the attic.

On the nest:E18
11:01a E18 to the veranda, attic. Both Es vocal. 11:06a Adults across the road. E18 to the outer attic. 11:10a E17 to the nest, lies down. Adults gone from the perch South. 12:28p E18 to the attic, nest vocal. E17 to the spike, veranda. E18 lies down.

:flirty: Both can be seen on cam perched on the nest tree at 13:25.

On the nest:None
Camera 2 and the 360 cam are buffering.1:28p E18 flies S across the road, around and back to the nest. 1:30p E18 to the attic.

On the nest:None
5:18p E18 flies off the nest to the DSPS, E17 joins them. 5:21p E18 to the pond edge. 5:26p E18 flies to the CSPS, flushed by the horses. 5:31p E17 to the hubcap tree.

On the nest:None
6:49p E17 to the nest, vocal. To the spike base, veranda, attic. 7:08p E17 tracks a bird flying overhead, vocal. H and M have been away from the nest tree all day, but were seen perched across the road at times

:girlcrazy: Just saw the E's in a view I am not used to seeing where they were in a snag or snags surrounded by living trees. All of a sudden the screen showed part of an adult eagle flying by and the E's were off in a flash after it. Thought there would be a food drop, but by the time I saw the cam on the nest, only one of the E's was there. So not sure if there was a food drop and the other E got it or if there was not a food drop. It happened at 20:17 and guess there was not a food drop when I went back to see what happened after previous.

On the nest:None
8:35pm Evening covers the pasture. The Es made short trips around the area today. Tonight they roost on the front pine. The adults are not in view but are surely perched close by. No food was delivered today. Sleep well precious eagles.

On the nest:None
1:48p E17 flies to the W side of the pond, steps in the water, sips and dips. 1:56p E18 flies to the pond by E17, scuffle. 1:58p E18 bathes as E17 watches. 2:02p Both go up the bank, playful scuffling. One flies to the E side of the pond.

On the nest:None

And just like that- we have come full circle and left with the amazing bond of this power couple. We have decided in an effort to minimize risk and damage to the cameras to turn them off today and remove before the threat of lightning storms becomes too prevalent. Thanks to all who joined us for Season 9! We hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

On the nest:None
8:20pm Harriet stayed perched on the outer attic branch until the late morning. The cams are offline for Season 9. Have a restful and safe summer Harriet, M15, all the Es and Eagle fans every where.

:girlsad3: The "Old Cam Tree" has fallen and can be seen on a video at site lying on the ground. They believe it fell d/t all the rain saturating the pasture. It was the one to the left of the nest tree that Harriet, M15, Ozzie and all the juvies perched on frequently. Harriet can also be seen on today's video.
