:flirty: It's raining some. Saw Harriet shaking her head while on the nest, maybe to rid the rain. He's on the attic.

:loveheart: Don't see M15 this evening, but he was on the nest earlier. Harriet is incubating the eggs for the overnight.

:loveheart2: Harriet is sleeping on the nest with her head tucked. I could not find M15 on the nest tree and not right before dark either. He may be there out of view or spending the night elsewhere.

:loveheart: Not seeing M15 on the nest tree again tonight. He was here during the day though. Harriet is on the nest currently incubating their eggs.

:loveheart: Not sure why M15 is not staying on the nest tree at night here lately. He's received several GHO strikes, but it doesn't seemed timed in direct response to that. Harriet on the nest.

:loveheart: Harriet on the eggs. Do not see M15 right now, but may show up later as he has done so in the past. They are on pip watch, which seems a tad early, but...

:loveheart2: Early this evening when the pip was visible at 17:44, there really was not a lot of progress from this morning, but you could see movement from the chick. Last view I saw was about a little over an hour ago and the pip was not visible from this view. Harriet did initiate vocal exchanges with M15 who is on the attic when she 1st got off the eggs at the last view of them.

:loveheart2: 18:17 Great view of hatch in progress. Crack across egg now with opening and closing and chick can be seen. Harriet on duty.

:flirty: You can see all of E21 for a split second, then part of E21 toward the end of the 20:22 minute and all of E21 again at the beginning of the 20:23 minute!

:loveheart: Was so busy watching for the hatch, I had assumed M15 was still on the attic where he flew after their last nest exchange that revealed the crack going all the way across the egg, but he flew out almost immediately after landing there. He flew at 18:17 and missed the hatch and as far as I know has not returned to the nest tree. Harriet is brooding E21 and incubating their egg currently.

Edit to add at 1:56 am CST on 1/7/23: I found a video of M15 viewing his egg for the 1st time on 1/5/23 at 3:01 am when he convinced Harriet to get up and let him incubate. Less than a half hour later Harriet returned and in no uncertain terms let M15 know his gig was up. Video by Lady Hawk:

M15 sees his chick for the 1st time at 3:01 am and broods.
