I notice on the “cam” page the University has an announcement that all Saturdayclasses and activities have been cancelled due to the storm. If I understand correctly the worst of the lake effect snows are to the south of the city of Buffalo. Right now no one is in the nest box…

We are having a steady snow fall for the last couple of hours. I'm not far from Yankee and Dixie and I see it's not snowing currently at UB.

At this moment , only One in box but maybe one out for prey

it is Yankee there. He has been in since I had it up at 11;00 . He has food and he picked between his talons. , had a PS and is now back in the corner closest to cam.
Wind seems to be picking up again. I will check when I can

it is 00:47:39 dec 27 and Yankee is still at the box , sleeping.

yankee does walk up and down box occasionally to exercise his leg.

yankee left around 17:00 last evening . Dixie came in thi s morning and spent quite a bit of time at box. left for a few minutes and then came back. she eventually went out on stick.
then she left quickly and Yankee came in shortly after. He must have had prey fo r her as he had full crop and he picked his talons
