The Statler nestbox cam won’t come on for me….Have they turned it off?

Anybody know what's going on with Statler? I keep searching...Maybe I missed an announcement somewhere.

I've been searching too but have come up with zip on the Statler falcons!! I have to check but I think the Statler was sold again and therein may be the answer. I will let you know what I find out.

Yep it is under new ownership.

Thanks Sally...so, even though it was purchased in 2020..and we still had the cams last year...guess they decided not to this year?

Per the Buffalo Niagara Bird group the Statler cam is up and running. I am trying to find out more. Stay tuned................

There is an article on BCAW Facebook from Peregrine Place. “Alice and Ralphie have 5 eggs. There is good news about the cam. Peregrine Place received a preview of the cam, however it is not yet online. We will announce when it is fully operational.” And the article includes a photo of Alice and Ralphie and their 5 eggs! :loveshow:

I believe they now have 5 hatches!!

Haven't heard anything lately. The building is still under renovation, so maybe in the future when it is fully open. Hopefully!

Not sure. There are definitely watchers at fledge time, but haven't seen anyone post about seeing them lately. Someone could be keeping an eye on them. They are right in downtown Buffalo.

Some Wonderful News from Peregrine Place, as shared on facebook :The cam at the Statler nest will be a activared in the next Week or so !!!!! I am over the moon!
