These birds are gorgeous!
It looks like the male has an injury to his throat. Maybe scrappin for such a great nestbox playground!

After-fledge pics are so special. Cuz they are FREE now. (sniff)
Birds we watch always fledge before WE are ready.
So the thrill of joy is always followed by a - snifffffffff

At least 2 of the kids are "home" for the night..#3 was also there at dark...but, not seeing him/her on cam now... :egg20:

I happened to catch Jack make an appearance, he looked around the box then sat at the corner of the playground for a few minutes before taking off. He has turned out to be a fine looking juvenile, It's nice to see him doing well! :egg8:
