Well, I was totally unprepared for Spark's arrival..had to "slap" the recorder on the cam...

Second breakfast for Durand..she won't be able to fly after this!!

I was hoping for a canoodle, but I think Durand is too stuffed to do anything but stand there. I do love listening to Spark's squeaks!!

Finally, after all Spark's begging on the ledge, they both make it to the box...That little devil didn't stay long...LOL...BUT, we are rewarded with the DD at the end!!

Spark and Durand were just bonding in the nest box after much coaxing - I watched who I think was Durand fly off with a prey and come back empty handed - I don't know what she did with that poor bird who lost his/her life for their food. Well, the bonding took place in the nest box and then Durand flew off and poor Spark just stood there - what just happened here, things seemed so good and then she left me - hmmmm :flirty:

It's so cold here today and even a coating of snow - mostly gone now

Thank you SGB for the video; I was hoping for canoodling as well - I thought for sure this would be the time - I too love Spark's squeaks - so endearing!! how could Durand resist such a handsome creature as Spark

Thanks for all the wonderful updates!! I have been wrestling with the ability to size the photos from my phone on the PB mobile app, so I haven't been able to post. Anyhow, it looks like these peregrines have been pretty active! Just now both Spark and Durand appeared on the ledge. I believe Spark was in the nestbox chupping but Durand was near the ledgecam and just sat there. Spark has since come out and they are both kinda sitting there.

I do love the ability to see both cameras at the same time. But of course the sound and color is amazing as well!!

Diva Durand finally decided to join Spark in the box for a little bonding session.

Its no big deal, but I've noticed that the ledge cam really isn't picking up the ledge (or at least the sound near the ledge cam). Several times I have seen Durand "talking", but I don't hear her!!! I'd rather have the box sound than the ledge sound anyway...gotta listen for the chicks when the time comes..

Now is the time to hang around downtown with binoculars and camera especially at the bottom of the ledge to catch Durand's d-dive - that would be so awesome to see her d-dive from the street level - now that would be a picture perfect picture
