No one there right now, but a hazy film over most of the scrape view. Probably a Sun reflection.

No falcons around right now. In fact, haven't seen them all day. Hope they're around in about half an hour, for I'm going to head downtown. Right after I entered this post, Lil Dad arrived on the point with some food. Leaving here in five minutes or less.

BOTH THERE NOW! NIECEY ON THE STICK, LIL DAD ON THE END OF THE LEDGE. SOMEONE HAD A BLUEJAY ON THE POINT, BY THE LOOKS OF LIL DAD'S CROP, I'D SAY IT WAS HIM! :leafrock:

LIL DAD IS GONE NOW, BUT NIECEY IS STILL ON THE STICK. SO NICE TO SEE THEM BOTH THERE ALL THAT TIME :-)

Spent about 45 minutes downtown this afternoon. Could see Lil Dad on the point while crossing the State Street Bridge. Got into the 5th Street Garage, and was greeted by a squirrel on the roof up there! Lil Dad flew off briefly and returned to sit on the ledge up against the building. I had WONDERFUL views of him with my new spotting scope. Niecey had arrived on the stick by then, and actually she was more cooperative, as she was facing my direction the entire time. Watched her preening, and could see tiny downy feathers coming out while she preened. She stuck out her right leg a couple times, and I could clearly see the green tape on her federal band. She had a loose feather on the top part of her left wing, and watched her pluck it out. The feather drifted off somewhere, not in my direction. When I left Niecey was still on the stick and Lil Dad up against the building, but they are both gone now.

I WAS HOPING YOUR WERE DOWN THERE JANE WHEN THEY WERE THERE ON THE LEDGE. I THINK THAT ONE PICTURE I GOT OF LIL DAD, HE MAY BE LOOKING AT YOU! PROBABLY WONDERED WHAT YOU WERE DOING WHEN SETTING UP YOUR SCOPE, LOL! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT SCOPE!

Oh, Lil Dad most definitely saw me on the garage roof. He was half asleep a lot of the time. Sleeping off that jay meal. :-)

AT NOON WHEN I WENT FOR MY WALK, LIL DAD AND NICEY WERE EECHUPPING TO EACH OTHER ON THE LOUVERS AT THE UNIVERSITY. WHEN I GOT BACK, BEFORE 1PM, THEY ARE BOTH STILL UP THERE. I GUESS OUR LEDGE IS A BIT TOO WINDY FOR THEM RIGHT NOW.
