Loza, there is a lot to cover. Thanks for your video. They will really have to fluff those feathers.

A thought came to my mind. This year we have had Record Breaking Temps. for this area that we have not seen in years. I'm wondering if that has any bearing on Red Girl producing more eggs. "Survival of the Fittest" theory ???? Anyone ????

Something else.....Can you see them trying to keep the hatchlings warm, after they are "out of the eggs??? Thank goodness the eggs don't hatch until warmer weather!

I've not been home much today, and am just catching up. Holy cow! SIX eggs. Red Girl has now outdone her dear mother.

Just did some reading in a bird encyclopedia here. I'm sure I've looked at this before. It DID say that the normal clutch for Peregrines is between 3 and 4 eggs, sometimes 5. Well, I knew that. BUT it also said there have been clutches between 2 and 6 eggs. NO mention of 7, though. :-)

Am getting my first look at the six eggs. I think Trinity was there a bit ago. And I think he's back, and having a devil of a time with the eggs. And he got situated about the time this message was entered. Looked like he was looking out for Red Girl to come in, and she did. She had trouble covering the eggs also, but she has it under control now.

We are to get 1-3" of snow tonight. Glad the Nest is under cover. They really have to spread out to cover those eggs. LOL!

Checked the cam, and I THINK it's Trinity on the eggs right now. Can't see any trace of snow, but I know that box is very well protected. There is NO snow in Harrisburg. And Red Girl is there now. I was either wrong or she came in while I was typing.

Just saw a nest exchange. Red Girl is there now. Wonder what a falcon's eye view must look like from up there? While Trinity was there, he looked like he was looking out anxious for Red Girl to return.

Glad that RG,so far has been very productive! According to the West chester,Pa. Daily local news, there is a PEFA couple on the county courthouse/justice center. I wonder if either could be a product of wilmington? thier story is on the west chester daily local news as of yesterday. After all, west chester is not too far north from wilmington :loveshow:
