I did not see that launch, but right now somebody small is on the shield and someone big is pancaked towards the point end. That was at about 1:10 p.m.

Checking in, I see two there. One on the stick, but at the ledge, and one pancaked at the column.

HERE'S A PICTURE FROM ABOVE OF BASICALLY WHERE WE HAD TO LEAVE BLUE GIRL FOR THE NIGHT. SHE WAS TUCKED IN THERE AND NOT MAKING ANY MOVES TO GO HOME. HOPEFULLY WE WILL FIND THEM ALL IN THE MORNING!

Here's the night report, and need to make this as quick as possible. Spent MOST of the day watching Blue Girl after we finally found where she went over on Strawberry Square after leaving the U roof. She was sitting on this sloped window ledge at Strawberry Square. There wasn't much for her to hold onto except this strip of metal that holds the windows in place. She sat there from 1:00 until around 5:00. She took off and finally found her on top of the elevator shaft of the 5th Street garage. She stayed there maybe 20 minutes and took off. Landed WAY over on the top of Morrison Towers, and she might have been content to stay there except she was being tormented by some Grackles over there. She took off, whacked into the front of the U Building, flew over to Forum Place, and eventually we found her on a lower window ledge at Strawberry Square. We watched her until it was too dark to see her. Green spent a good bit of the day on the ledge, and Red hasn't flown yet. Jet was on his penthouse on the top of the column for the night. He has definitely found his wings. Green is still a little unsteady. Am praying Blue has stayed put, and will be looking for her before first light tomorrow. At one point this morning, Niecey was nailing a Black Vulture that was VERY low above us. Thought she'd knock it out of the air in front of us, but I think it got the message. Am totally exhausted after being down there from 5:15 AM until almost 9:00 tonight. Will be doing it all over tomorrow. And if any of you locals can come to guard the things we have on the grass, that would be VERY much appreciated. Loved Steve's pictures. :-)

ONE THING YOU FORGOT JANE, BLUE GIRL WAS ON THE CHESTNUT STREET GARAGE AFTER THE 5TH STREET GARAGE ELEVATOR SHAFT BEFORE SHE WENT TO THE MORRISON TOWERS. AND HERE ARE THE PICTURES OF HER ON THE GARAGE ROOF AND THEN ONE ON MORRISON TOWERS WITH THE TWO GRACKLES AFTER HER. SHE FLEW RIGHT OVER OUR HEADS WHEN SHEN WENT ALL THE WAY OVER TO FORUM PLACE. THAT WAS QUITE A WAYS, SO WHEN SHE LANDED ON STRAWBERRY SQUARE AGAIN, I BET SHE WAS REALLY TIRED..............

these kids need to learn to lay low until everyone has had coffee and breakfast!!! What are they thinking, flying so early!!

I was too tired to mention about Blue being over there at the garage roof. And I don't have any awesome pictures of her like those, but had some knockout looks at her when I found her on top of the elevator shaft. And WHAT is coffee and breakfast? :-)

Oh my goodness, thanks so much for the great reports. When I read that Blue Girl was at Forum Place and then Strawberry Square, I thought wow, that's a pretty good distance. She is so beautiful in the photos and that picture of her running across the parking deck made me gasp. The pictures of Lil' Dad with that woodpecker and Green Boy flying/jumping down there were priceless. I am so glad that you guys are able to keep watch over them, I wish I could be there to help you in some way. Maybe Red Girl will go tomorrow. I know it makes falcon watch hard when it's so long between 1st and last fledge.

Everybody get lots of rest, another long day tomorrow. :egg19:

Have been waiting to see the reports and pictures from today. You all have put in quite a day! Way above dedication! Get rest now as tomorrow you will do it all again. I was following you around in the reports. The pictures are fabulous! I love the way they look as they walk. So determined to get some place with their long strides.
I watched Red Girl stay put as well as have company from her brother, Green Boy. Good Night All! Bless All of You!
