WOW who ever is at the controls of that camera is doing a most awesome job.
She is taking baths running around and just having the time of her life. The only thing that could make this cuter is if there were a couple kids to play with each other.

Great stuff today, thanks!!

Athena brought in an appetizer around 4:50 p.m., which Ivy (or Kat, which Bonnie suggested) promptly snatched from her and dropped to the roof.

She eats like a big girl! :teehee:

OK finally I got it. This is 2 1/2 hours of videos & it was so hard to snip & clip to get it this short and this is pretty long sorry. I haven't had this much video that I wanted to keep it all :teehee: She was just so fun to watch.

Thanks DEF. This is really a wonderful blog. The pictures and captions from Jersey City are priceless, and I love the Piping Plover chicks!

And thanks, KF, for the wonderful video of Ivy playing in the rain. So cute!

A bit off-topic since it was last year, but I just stumbled across this, Ben Wurst's video from the JC banding last year! It's awesome and shows what it's like to be on umbrella duty at banding! :) Enjoy!

Went down today. The best view remains on the cam. If she moves to the west terrace she will be off cam. Don't panic. The birds hop back and forth on the ledges.

Just put a plexiglass travel cage, cardboard box and covers and blankets into the car. Since I'm prepared I probably won't need to use anything.

Fledgling is on west side terrace ledge eating. Saw flight but could have been adult dropping food. Happened fast. She is flapping hard.

Loved that video, Kitten--thanks so much for sharing it with us! I didn't realize the kids here have such a nice big yard to play in, & I agree Kitten--too bad she doesn't have some siblings to play with. She sure is exercising those wings, so they will hopefully carry her far!
