Bird Cams Around the World

Just watched a feeding, they were starving. One chick got blocked out and it tried everything to get in front, but the others would not let it in.

crawling under



These two each had an end, so parent had to pull it out.





Finally somebody gets full and it slips in.


front and center now.


Parent moves to the other side and the humongous one on the end actually turns to get more, but struggles and finally falls over.





Then she/he just tries to find a place to get out of the crowd and crash.



They all ate more than they could hold.

Chicks see a parent approach


It's FC. I figure he has come in to watch the kids, but when Clara returns she has nothing but a scrap. It took all of 20 seconds to feed.



They are like, seriously, that's it?

The camera switched to the wall where both parents were sitting.

There is a feeding going on and it's chaos in there. Diving under to help themselves, fighting over bites grabbing from each other. That little on is crazy.






He somehow got the intestines and it was a tug of war pulling that thing back and forth, but I think he finally got it down.

Another good feed, although it was hectic a time or two. They had a food fight and poor FC ? had to jump in the middle to get the food. I think one must have grabbed something and took off with it because a little later, I saw it coming back. The prey was big and I am so glad for that. I sleep better knowing they are full.


They are still eating, oops parent ate the foot, although earlier, I'm pretty sure a chick had the other one unless it dropped it. .

Caught a chick on the other side. Pooped and came back.



Then FC comes in to feed them scraps.





They are like, we don't want any.

Then he tries to force feed this one but she/he holds head back, determined not to eat.

Earlier, just hanging out flapping, exploring, preening, looking for scraps.









They are now having dinner

So cute.

In the first 2 photos, I feel like I'm looking a group of singers/dancers like The Temptations and one dancer made the wrong move, or the song, "One of these things is not like the others" comes to mind!

Don't even think about it.

I couldn't understand why the chicks were walking away from FC feeding them.














Then the camera pulled back and I saw Clara was there too.

That chick in the back got a ton of white feathers.



FC comes back to feed.







so sweet.

They seem to be growing them BIG this year!

Watching these guys, they are great feather catchers!

They are huge aren't they?


Clara is still plucking and the feathers are landing on the chicks and they are eating them.

I think the one who was trying to help Mom by helping herself must be a girl.

And they seem much larger to me this year than in years past. There seem to be lots of tandem feeds this year, which is great!

I haven't decided about gender, two big ones and two smaller ones, but none look bigger than FC, yet.

I'm surprised the one on the right can move!

Well they finally finished, except for one still picking up feathers.

Oh man, I think that's a foot that chick is working on.
Oh thank goodness, he managed to pull it back out .

Oh please tell me they are not eating more.
My bedtime anyway.
