Three currently napping in the shade next to the bad window and the other one has been standing near the scrape looking up from time to time and squawking. Maybe a parent on the camera or thinking of getting up on the shield?

Edit: the other bird just jumped up on the shield making others scream so that must have been Niecey sitting there. The sun glare and light on the ledge right now make it hard to see who is who for me.

Earlier, when Niecey jumped up on the Shield, oops I thought for sure it was a juvie.

Oh, I think Lil' Dad just brought prey and Niecey jumped down and got it.

Good grief, we've got two huddled up by the end of the ledge, pray the little boy doesn't get knocked off.

Did I just see one flappercizing as it ran down the ledge? To me, it looked like it went off the edge. Now I only see three. Where is the fourth one?

ljames - glad to hear that, I was really worried. I looked closely and finally saw that one. And thanks for the welcome! I've been lurking for a couple of years now and really enjoy watching them grow.

:dancegirl: WELCOME KWEST1! I LURKED FOR ALMOST A YEAR BEFORE I JOINED. STARTED WITH THIS NEST FOR WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE "NEW GIRLS" LAST SEASON. USED TO THINK IT WAS NORMAL FOR FALCONS TO HAVE A "HEAD COLLECTION" IN THEIR NEST! :teehee: I LOVED HER SO AND WAS CRUSHED AT HER LOSS. WAS AFRAID THE CHICKS WOULD PERISH AND WAS SHOCKED AND THRILLED WHEN LIL DAD STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND FINISHED RAISING THEM TO FLEDGE! WHAT A TREMENDOUS FALCON HE IS! I WILL NEVER FORGET IT! YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU TOOK THE LEAP AND JOINED!!! ENJOY!

4:24 check. Can see all juvies on the ledge, two on the street side of the orange post, one on the point and one next to the bldg at the far end.

SWINWK, others here may know if that bird is related to "Mom", but any female who is extraordinarily aggressive in protecting her young sure sounds like her!

Right now, at 4:45 or so, all chicks hanging together on the point, preening and vocalizing a bit.

I know that Jane is aware of one of our girls nesting in Beaver County, so that is probably the one. She is one of Mom & Lil Dad's girls.

Doesn't look like anyone else is on here, but I'm only seeing 3 kids. 2 on the point & 1 by the orange post. Maybe one went around the column?

Edit: Its OK. There are actually 3 on the point, but one was in front of the other. That could be a problem though because that puts 1 of them very close to edge. :egg14:

We had an aggressive female in Buffalo - BB. They removed her for behavior rehabilitation! I am not sure what that means. Anyways she was released and some have said she has been spotted in Fort Erie, Ontario which is right across from Buffalo (Lake Erie borders Fort Erie too) BB was a great mom and although Dixie is wonderful I still think it was unfair to remove her.

SWINWK, Reenie posted yesterday on Facebook that this is our Yellow Girl from 2006, so yes, she was from Mom and Lil Dad. I thought it was also posted here, but maybe it wasn't.
