FORGOT TO MENTION, THERE WERE YELLOW SHAFTED FLICKER FEATHERS BELOW, SO I'M GUESSING THAT'S WHAT SOMEONE HAD TO EAT TODAY :-(

I just had a flicker at my feeder and water. but I know this is nature.still :girlsad3:

NIECEY IS ON THE POINT RIGHT NOW AND LIL DAD UP BY THE SCRAPE :-)

Just got home. Not seeing any falcons at the moment. One of those snow squalls is passing by here. It is snowing sideways. :-(

That squall went by and now the sun is out. Niecey is on the point with some small prey. Make that Lil Dad. Pretty sure prey is a Flicker. :-(

Looks pretty fresh, too. Tried tp grab a picture off the stills, and he took off with it. Maybe stashed it or gave it to Niecey.

Lil Dad is back on the point with one of the Flicker feathers sticking out from his belly. Will try to get a picture off the stills. And I got the picture but don't know how to do anything with it. The feather looks like it's a tail feather, and has a lot of yellow on it. Can't believe it doesn't blow off.

Thanks for posting my picture, Reenie. That feather was blowing around all over the place, and that was the best I could come up with.

LIL DAD ARRIVED ON THE SHIELD, NIECEY WENT DOWN TO HIM. NIECEY'S BACK ON THE POINT AND LIL DAD STILL ON THE SHIELD. HE PROBABLY TOLD HER IT'S TOO COLD TO CANOODLE! LOL!

WELL ACTUALLY, I THINK LIL DAD JUST CAME TO TELL NIECEY HE PUT FOOD SOMEWHERE FOR HER. SHE LEFT EARLIER AND LIL DAD STAYED ON THE SHIELD, HE HAS NOW MOVED TO THE POINT THOUGH.

DEAR LIL DAD IS STILL ON THE LEDGE WATCHING OVER IT. HE'S SUCH A TROOPER!

IT SEEMS THIS COLDER WEATHER HAS HIM NOT IN SUCH A BIG HURRY TO CANOODLE AS MUCH. I PITTY THE BIRDS, THEY ARE PROBABLY SO SCREWED UP BEHIND THE WEATHER WE HAVE ANYMORE!

Wonder if birds ever get bored? Can't get over how dear Lil Dad is just sitting there guarding the ledge. And don't let that bright sun fool you. At noon it was a whopping 17 degrees here. At least it's not windy.
