I hope DC is okay and just busy with P right now.

This little guy reminds me of the little one who spent time with her and was so attracted to the Crossroads building.

And he's silent when arriving at NB. MAK reported him at the box and I didn't hear anything...

I'm just not ready for this season to start....

Feel like a bear just coming out of hibernation!

I've got to get my brain working to calculate times (ET/CT/PT) correctly!

well , we knew this was going to happen. Falcons on the move . always does. Look at little dad at Harrisburg. goes away for a bit . No name comes in and then little dad comes back.

Just remember , this is nature, and we are privileged to be a part. I do like DC. I think as long as another female does not wander in, things will be O.K.

I think B is on Mercury and UT is on the chimney they are showing now.

Maybe B did not accept this UT yet, while waiting to see if DC comes back.

Carol just reported B is gone from base of Mercury - 4:44pm

I just read back over last few days and DC has been with both , I would say equally. and it was reported this morning that all 3 were seen. so Dc probably just out site seeing and will chase this guy out.

Well, Maybe B should stay hidden, so if/when DC does come back DT, she will not be seen with UT.

I don't think tomorrow is going to be fun....

I thought this little guy looked familiar....

Here's Beauty's UT friend from April of last year...

Maybe he's comfy with the box and Beauty with him because they've met before...

And... this little guy favored the Crossroads building in April of 2013...

And not to bring up bad memories... this was the same one who snuck in right before Beauty started laying eggs (literally a day or 2 before)... remember all the drama - Who's the daddy?

This is a lot like last year in that DC was down at BS the whole time and didn't come for a day or two, then just nonchalantly showed up.

Just saw the pics on Rfalcon... very similar.... I see it now. Wow...

There was one Beauty was with before DC returned. I think they may have called him Zippy?

The one I posted was from April, after DC had returned, and the windows were boarded up, then DC had a complete change of heart with B. There was full on courting with DC & B. He leaves, I think on a Sunday afternoon. This little one showed up on a Sunday afternoon & we were all shocked because DC stayed away.

I went back through the archives after I found the photo in my 2013 bird file. This little guy looked SO familiar to me when I saw him, I wanted to see if he looked like any of the males from last year.

Of course, can't forget the other male who came in after eggs were laid, close to hatching- who I do NOT believe is this little guy.

Oh well...

And copulations were reported before DC returned on 3/17/13.

1:05pm - I can hear B at the nest. She's on the other side of main cam. Little squeaks and now a little wailing/calling. Poor girl sounds hoarse.

I know I'm not supposed to inject emotion into this, but she sounds lonely.

After UT left this morning and she was on the base of Mercury, it was sort of a sad sight.

I think you are right Carly.. I don't think DC really wants to be a 2 nester. As we've discussed/debated on here, he has his preference. He tolerates B in territory because he cannot drive her out and if it was P who challanged B earlier this year, she's not strong enough yet. B is holding steady.

All I can hope is that B has babies again this year because that seems to be when she seems the most "alive" to me... Again, I know I'm throwing emotion on this and really shouldn't.

Patsy is reporting DC is above her under the NE wing.

She's vocalizing a little. Some wailing. Guessing DC is above and she wants him to come down to bond in the box.
