Okay, first 2 videos:

Afternoon lunch with Beauty. DotCa comes over to supervise and to let us all know he's got it under control. Just a reminder, you can speed the video up using the gear icon at the bottom of the video and changing the speed. Personally, I'd wait until after DotCa leaves as he give a great stare directly into the camera!:

This second video is a little choppy. I ran an errand and was gone longer than expected. The entire video was 2 hours and very jerky. I tried to speed it up a little to help with the jerky, slow/fast action. Looks as if DotCa came in and started to feed some scraps before Beauty arrived with some more substantial food.

I've got a few more videos coming. Just have to get dinner prepped.

And better late than never.. the final videos.

1) When Beauty was upset and left and DC came into cover. I tried to speed up some of the quieter parts:

2) When DC brought food in and Beauty remained on the kids. Only when DC left did Beauty finally get up and get the food. What I didn't know at the time was the reason he left was because a crow flew over/by. You can hear it vocalize! He started to kaak and let out a strange whine and was OFF!!!!!

Extremely late morning for me... Up last night trying to get those videos converted/edited and uploaded. YT was taking forever and like a mindless idiot, I uploaded to wrong account!

Wish I had checked the stream at 4am as I was awake and would have loved to capture him feeding.

Anyway, I turn cam on this morning and see DC on corner deck with prey. Sitting quietly. No communication between B and DC. He turns around and they start to "talk". He leaves and comes back to the other side of deck. Maybe he thinks he can get her to come take the food if he tries from the other side?

Well, he left and then came back. He wanted to feed. He's made his way to box. B tried to take food, but he backed up. He's biting off very small pieces.

He's really trying, but everytime he gets close, B tries to come get food.

He finally gives it up and walks the beam back to corner.

Yesterday when he was picking off small pieces of prey and chupping/chirping while he was on the corner... I'm convinced he was probably trying to show Beauty - "See I remember, small pieces and lots of talking". The way he was talking was almost like he was trying to coax the kids to eat.... That's before he flew off after the crow!

Just looking back at the archives from this morning when DC came in early..

He was on deck by 3:45am. You can see his shadow against the building.

Well, Beauty has these kids STUFFED.. She's trying to get them to eat, but they are not opening their mouths. She's taking off with the leftovers now.
