U o f AApril 5th
we went down to U of and as we pulled in we saw someone on lower Maz eating, so I thought maybe Radisson
but as we got closer , we could see it was quite light in color. It flew off as Ravens came in . We took quite a few pictures but we think it was a young Swain sons Hawk
good thing it left because about 10 minutes later , Radisson came flying in chupping . She went right to nest box. Jean saw her fly quickly past her window , coming from the Southeast.
I believe she was on cam aerial for a bit by nest box. have to look at picutres .
She stayed there for quite awhile before flying over to antennae on north side of College Plaza. That is wher we left her
We went down again last evening and she was on her antennae and then , o f course, stated after ravens . she just kills me the way she goes after them LOL
She eventually flew back to her antennae on top of Windsor apartments.
We know we have to get official Id but I will eat my hat( please be Radisson

)if it is not. I f we had better lens we would have gotten her band number while she was flying . when she w still she would not show us her leg
Same funny tail feather, same places she hangs out at and same MO with ravens . same look
the coffee shops and cafeterias will be glad to see us again.
Wanted to buy a better lens this yer, but house repairs kind of nicked that
I am editing my post heard back from Gord and this light bird is a female prairie falcon. I thought falcon but ti was so light so then we thought hawk, bu twings were not right.
