the female I got on Sunday is a 2013 captive bred from our Pembina hack.

so hopefully our resident female is O.k. wil write more about success of 2013 hack. pretty tied up right now.

We also still had a youngster here sept 8. i have a full picture , just have to find it.

Thanks Bev...looks like the same bird I saw..and possibly the same female in my vid...

Somebody is currently in the box...looks like it probably spent the night...still too dark to see who it is...

Red band has been dozing in the box for quite some time..I won't be able to watch much longer...but, will post a few pics later this evening...

the cam seems to be of now but up until yesterday we had the red band female and a male at box. my friend and i do not believe this to be resident male . so I do believe our adults had left area and this young pair have come in , thinking they have found a gold mine. I will do more comparisons when I have time in a few days but head features etc, do not look like our male. And it is feasible for resident pair to be out of area .

wish I could have gone out there but was nto possible but our pair are always first ones back , for some reason , so maybe first to leave. cam has never been on after end of August for us to see.

hoping to have time to post a few videos and pictures of male and female. I believe he is just young also
