had all sots of problems banding day to get what we got. I do not understand the ins an d outs but one of main cameras is hooped)mew cam))

you see they are trying to give a better view. on full screen you can see better

I am very nervous with how close these guys are to edge of slippery ledge. we wil be having some storms so I hop e they go to gravel them

lots o f food drops being made for kids to self feed and then adult comes in and tops them up

oldest kid at Bell is 34 days today and youngest is 31 days old .

would like to stay put for another 10 days but....

a few short videos from yesterday( not the best quality but in a hurry these days)
food drop on ledge

one adult feeding and another makes another drop

these guys get too close to edge as far as I ma concerned

this was from July 14
all 3 take a grab and run after a food drop

we have put a notice out on ACA forpeople with offices across from Bell and around area in general to keep their eyes open fo r these kids.

I have a friend who is going to watch as much as she can while I am on watch but these kids have been upset a lot this year by those who really do not care.

My fingers are crossed. Be careful my little ones

I had to go into the DVR to find all 3 at the same time...they really scatter!!!

I hope these little ones wait until UofA has fledged and then Bev and Peter
would have more time during Bell fledge.

Last year I thought Bell fledged first...

That certainly is understandable, Bev. and Peter...

so far this morning, I've only found 1 on cam...I'll check the DVR for Sunday, see if I have any luck with a head count...

Update:

I've been staking out the cam. Definitely 2 (but not at the same time)..one has quite a bit of fluff at the base of the tail, the other has hardly any fluff showing at all...it sure would be nice if they would all come together...Haven't seen a food drop either...could have been before I even opened the cam.

There is a strong possibility that 2 have fledged. I went back into the DVR (you'll see the mark) and caught a feed..I watched the entire thing~from arrival to parent departure~only 1 attended...and parent took leftovers...

I have said nothing yet, because I was waiting for Bev to tell. Yesterday 2 got knocked over the edge. 1 was first and Bev put in a call to Gord to take a look. Peter went down and found nothing at that time. Then sometime later a camera watcher , texted Bev to say that another was missing. But, there are ledges lower down that they may have fluttered to...

Without a body , we have hope.

This is a site that we need friends in high places to look.

What do you mean "Knocked over the ledge". they didn't leave by choice? I knew I had seen 3 on Saturday (I think)...didn't get to check on Sunday...and could have sworn there were 2 there early this morning...

by knocked, is this. one was flapping and it flapped the other one off . Same thing happened to other one later on.

I always put cams up when I get up and put them on record and DVR and when I saw ti , My heart sank

Peter went down and looked all over. We had security checking also but lower roofs are around there and they may have fluttered into those. Gord was supposed to go down

a friend of mine who is watching the cams alerted me today to the act , we may have a youngster flying successfully.

Thanks Bev..Currently I see no one on cam...and during a spot check on the DVR, didn't see anyone there either..I'll do a more thorough search later..

Bad news...chick #3 left the ledge yesterday afternoon...I still don't know how to read the numbers on the DVR...so, I can't tell you when...but, I went all the way back...(through the night until I got to yesterday...)

I'm pretty sure this is #3 based on all the fluff at the base of the tail..hard to know if it was by accident or on purpose...
