She was preening just a bit ago, so whatever she is watching can't be too threatening. She's still watching something. :egg16:

we are watchng for our male.

not seen since 7:46am
she has been and out and watching all around.

she has been off eggs quite a bit adn now severe storm warning here.

We will be monitoring because if male does not come in, Gord will be notified

I do not expect to see him right now with this big storm.

well Jennifer , jsu t phoned me and she is away but said they are still doing implosions on power lines and it wil be on going. this chased them away at beginning and then they came back.

If we still see this being unsettled, I will call George and see exactly the score and we may have to get GOrd involved.

thye are doing a two stage expansion here and I think the falcons are way low on list. they gave always been excited about falcons but get another company involved and boom

this is such a great site, would hate to lose it.

will see if male shows up. He may have to think he has to protect her and does kno w what from.

Thanks for that information, Bev...and helps to explain what I was seeing for the brief time I was watching...I kept thinking, though, that there was a human to the right of the box...she kept craning her neck and looking in that direction. Maybe that's just where all the sounds were coming from.

Such a shame they are last on the list for consideration. I know its gotta be stressful for you, but thank goodness Gord is there if you need to call him in..probably not a problem he wants to have to deal with right now..

mom looks sound asleep right now..

June 5

yesterday was a very stressful day and thank goodness for the help of a friend here, we were able to keep tabs. She was very stressed out and kept leaving eggs. the male was missing since after 7am . but I knew from her actions it could not be bird intruder. she was not yapping.

Then male was on this morning, my friend was up way before me, an d bless her heart got him Id . Bare legs are our best friend right now LOL
Miserable weather there so it is important that the eggs stay covered.

yesterday was warmer so no harm done.

we will have to monitor very closely

Female on eggs looking both relaxed for a few seconds, then startled. The cam is rain-spotted, so a storm is moving through, and I can't hear anything so I don't know if this is the issue for her. I am pretty the falcons here can tolerate a big storm, but explosions are something else; it is so unsettling. I hope the company finishes with that very soon.

well , luckily things have settled here but I am not. I get a message yesterday say they have been doing implosions fro two weeks now but someone may have been working on stack.

they know it is off limits right now. but di d they bother to tell company they are in partnership with.

I am so disappointed with them this year. It is like they have forgotten why they erected this cam.

I know work has to get done but some things can wait, or be done before nesting season.

so not want to ruffle too many feathers s it does not work.
I must be getting old because I see things so differently than the cooperate world.

I am ready to go and build in Alaska , like the show.

On a good note, we have a set of peregrines that we know of nesting on the Pembina , quite close to where the hacking boxes were.

Gord is thrilled and so am I. Until they go by boat , they will not know if there are more

when Peter and i get a life, we wil take a trip out there and see what we can see.
