Nest Location: On the side of the McKenzie Seeds building in downtown Brandon.

Hurricane (female) hatched 2007 on the Radisson Hotel in Wpg - Bands: Black 23/Y (R)
Brooklyn (male) hatched 2007 on the McKenzie building in Brandon - Bands: Black 21/Y (R)

TPC's description for telling the two apart: Easiest way to tell other than size, is that he has clear margins on this malar stripe on the left side in particular than Hurricane - hers is blurry for want of a better description. He is also much whiter on the breast - startlingly so at times - no markings at all on his upper breast.

No peregrines yet, they were back April 8th last year. I did see a Merlin downtown this morning and it was making the pigeons nervous!! :egg21:

There is one falcon back at the McKenzie building and I think it is male. He has a solid black band on his right leg and silver on the left.

The only thing I know for sure is that Beatrix from 2011 and Hart (male) from 2012 have been ID'd for sure. The one hanging out at the Radisson they think is Princess and they thought it was Ivy but turned out to be Hart. I haven't heard anything else.

Well I ID'd Brooklyn today (black band 21/Y) and Hurricane is also back. I didn't get her band number but I am absolutely positive it is her just by her distinguishing marks.

I was in Brandon this afternoon and I was lucky enough to catch Brooklyn and Hurricane bonding in the nest box. I am a block away in a parking lot between buildings, It's the closest I can get without obstructions.

Brooklyn brought her a food gift but she didn't take it at the box. After they both left, I watched them do a mid air food transfer.

No, it's ground level a block east of the McKenzie building in a small parking lot between buildings.
