5/30/14~Banding day: 3 males!!



Nest Location: 23rd floor on the SE side of the tower (Pavillon Roger-Gaudry) at the University of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Roger (male) Unbanded.
Spirit (female) Bands: black over green 93/E, hatched in 2004 at the Hilliard Road Bridge in Ohio.


No cam yet
Nest Location: Stack J-4 at the Turcot interchange.
Polly (female offspring of Spirit and Roger, hatched in 2009)
Algo (male offspring of Spirit and Roger, hatched in 2009)

Hi all!
I have some awesome news, I just received a new camera to be installed on the next box next week. It is a HD PTZ camera, we should have great images this year!! :sum9: Thanks to the Université de Montréal and École Polytechnique for their financial help!!!

What's with that big hole in front of the nest on the platform? Has it always been that way? The cam is great. I saw it panning around earlier and was already imagining watching the juvies.

Yes it's always been that way, except we added the triangles on each side to help youngsters go in and out of the box. The adults love the perch!
We finally got the new camera working today as you saw :hapdance:
However the live video does not have any sound yet, I am working on this and hopefully I can add the sound this week.... There is a microphone out there it's just a matter of configuration. We should have great images this year! Here is a video from earlier:
