Very strange as female spent night but I watched savanna h last week. I really checked band . Will have to check in more.

Just browsing so not at computer, but saw a cat like animal on cliff above nest box , during dark hours and falcon at box was turned, wings out facing in. It knew it was there. Animal finally disappeared( could not tell what)

Edit : I think I am seeing 2 different females :girlcrazy:

Not time to peruse closer, but really scanned cam for quite a bit Mmmmm

Exactly!

His behavior sounds like the male we had in Rochester for several years, Archer. Beauty and he had a nest where it currently is now, and he had a nest with another falcon for several years a few blocks away! The falcon is now Syacuse's resident female.

The Cliff box has not been productive in recent years.
No wonder Newman is franticly fertilizing EVERYbirdy!

2021 Only one fledge
2020 Owl got both Nova's young.
2017, 2018, 2019 only one fledge

2015, 2016 = 4 fledged

2022 June 14
All 4 chicks jump from the nest
We dont know if they survived or not, we never saw them again.
Raccoon may have gotten them, we just dont know.
