Murphy and 23-126 to be separated at least temporarily while 126 is placed with a flighted adult BE. There is concern 126 is learning too well from Murphy and is not attempting to fly, but rather walk to where he needs to go. Video and write-up with their explanation from World bird Sanctuary:

Harrisburg Banding, 6/7:

Male: b/g 04/BZ (Yellow Tape)
Male: b/g 05/BZ (Green Tape)
Female: b/g 23/CA (Blue Tape)

Ameren, Sioux Energy Band info...(hardly any, but a nice read..LOL)..banded on 6/1

After a very lengthy explanation, all I got from Jeff's report was:

2 females
1 male
1 not sure, but was banded as female.

bands are b/bl

I think I was able to pull 2 off the cam

I think the male is b/bl 66/U
female~S/40

I'll keep trying.

Edit to add:

other two numbers:

female~b/bl S/41
female~b/bl S/42

I don't know which of the females was the mystery gender.

Don't feel bad...me either..yet, I can view all other Earthcams...I have to back track through the stills to see anything.

After perusing the updates, it appears that BN/16 is also in Rehab. Not sure when she was picked up. Also, looks like BN/14 had a successful fledge on Wed. No update on the male.

Bald Canyon eaglet 45D who was named Alo during the treatment phase. He was the youngest of the 3 eaglets here. They made one more attempt to remove the hook since I last reported that was also unsuccessful, then went through with the surgery. Update from IWS from a day ago:

Sad news. Although the surgery to remove the hook that was embedded in Alo's stomach went well, he rapidly declined after the surgery and went into cardiac arrest. He was revived temporarily, but died shortly after. He will be sent for a necropsy, but their current theory is zinc toxicosis from the hook. We thank the rehab facility for their valiant efforts and our donors for supporting them. The proceeds raised will be forwarded soon.
