:15heartbeat: Well now I'm really bummed out. The male chick who does walk around and explore to the left some, was not there before dark last night on 5/23. The 2 of them ALWAYS sleep together. I checked this morning and throughout the day and he has not been seen on cam. I thought the feeds would draw him back if he could hear the deliveries, but they didn't. His sis is sleeping alone again tonight. I am very concerned for him and tend to think if he could be there he would be.

:girlsad3: Maybe he fledged low and is getting fed wherever he is, we can hope.

:15heartbeat: I'm unsure that he was ready to fledge then catwoman, but if not it was getting close. Now she's gone. Left out of there at 11:18 am on 5/25 to the left and out of sight just like her brother did. Here's an Explore photo of the nest location and it looks different than I thought it would look and I feel a little better.

:15heartbeat: Neither of the juvie falcons have returned to the nest. Mom was seen just outside the nest area to the left as dawn broke yesterday and within the nesting area a few minutes later briefly.

:15heartbeat: Still no juvies. Don't know if we'll ever see them again. Mom possibly spends the night here still as an adult falcon is seen before dawn many mornings and she was also there for awhile in the 6 o'clock hour this evening. She was feaking on the ground right after her arrival. She flew at 7. Can never catch her coming in for the night on cam.

:flirty: The male juvie has been named "Griffin" and although he nor his sister have been seen, Dr. Sharpe hopes they will return within cam view after they start flying more.

:15heartbeat: Still waiting to see if the juvies return here. Mom came in a little before 5 this morning, but didn't stay long just outside the nest area.

:bow Look at the princess who returned to the palace this morning! Screen capture by Buster:

HRH 97/AE :5val:

She can still be seen on the DVR. She was there for several minutes with 1-2 falcons flying above at intervals. Don't remember the onset of her visit, but one of the minutes was 8:26 am.

:10sum: And finally Griffin makes an appearance at the nest and his black band is seen on the right leg. He is soon joined by his sister. Screen captures by Buster:

Griffin, black band right leg.

Griffin and his sister who hasn't been named yet.

:eggthumb: Griffin can be seen coming in at 6:54 this morning and a minute later his sister arrives. They stayed several minutes checking out the old homestead.

:eggthumb: I still check on them here twice a day, but it's been awhile since I've seen Griffin and his sister 97/AE. I did see both HopperJet and Mom a couple days ago on the nest. Once in awhile one or both do stop by their nest site.

:dancegirl: YW, Beth! And if anyone would like to see them today, HopperJet flew in at 9:45 am followed by Mom seconds later! He flew out at 9:46 and she at 9:58.

Had to ask to find out, but I never saw what they named the female juvie 97/AE here. Found out today she was named Stella! So hoping Griffin and Stella are doing well on their journeys!! :5val:
