fight in box with 2 females, on e banded , on e not. Not going to post it.

bu tone was stuck between box and railing and manged to get free . I think both are o.k. did not watch it all. Too many fights for me. make take a break from cams

No one has seen Nova since fight

thanks Shep. that was my take of fight also

nova was definitely th e winner of th e fight. no really severe blows were delivered in my opinion, bu t I was surprised that Nova just left , with the other one dangling there. wonder if someone else came into territory

These are my thoughts - only my own thoughts - unsupported.

I think Nova is nesting nearby in the cliff.
Last year she appeared to prefer the cliff, and was suspicious of the box.
Her instincts were right, she couldnt protect her young from the owl.

Whether or not Travis wants to service 2 broods I dont know.
As I recall, the James River male did that.

Maybe the 2 year olds only want to be fed, not mate.
